Campus Lifestyle Among Indians, Malay, and Chinese.

Campus is a place where student from all races study and interact with each other.In campus, we learn about life, friends, and how to communicate with variety people.This is the place that we built our confident, independant and 'modal insan' so that we will produce high quality of students.In campus, we have depend on ourself 100%.We need to have good dicipline, so that we will contiue study until final year and get degree as a proof that we are success in our study.But a smart student, not actually a good person .a good person is a person which be able to communicate and interact with community and know how to survive even when they are alone.Campus or University had set up variety of program that will help students prepare themself before go into workforce.Campus always have a mission to produce a student which full of package.We have many society such as 'Persatuan Kebudayaan India' for Indian, 'Persatuan Mahasiswa Islam' for Muslims and 'Pesatuan mahasiswa Bukan Islam' for non-Muslims.Besides, we also have cultural Society like Jazz Dance, Japanese Society, Malay Dance Society and so on.Campus lifestyle among Malay usually quiet similar.Malay student like to spent time hangging out with friends at shopping centre on holiday.Some of them like to join the society like Kelanasiswa,Suksis,Palapes and so on.The others just spent their time by going to library and search the assignment resources.Malay always like to be friends with Indians, Chinese and other races.This is because, Malay always open minded and think that they have to built good relationship with variety friends.Malay also enjoy their food in cafeteria because there are lot o spicy food and almost all of it is Malay food.So, they dont have any problem about that.For Chinese student, their lifestyle in campus full with fashionable dress up.Among Chinese, they always dress up to date with a branded cloth.Lots of them like to set hair with variety style, like blonde, perm,and so on.Sometimes, even when going to class, they did not wearing proper cloth.But, not all of them do that.Some of them always dressing in proper way and involved in society such as Buddhist Society, and Chinese Tradition Society.From the relationship aspect, Chinese student always comunicate and interact among them more thanother races.Maybe, they have their own excuse on that.But, the important thing is, they always give cooperation in whatever campus organize.For the Indian student, they like to built relationship among them.Sometimes, they become too obsession with his own race.Many o them didn't like to joining other society rather than their own society.That shows, their attitude towards ather races.They like hangging out only with Indian people.But, the good things here is, they like to built a family relationship among because they was so far from home and own parents.Whether aware or not, as long as they Indian, they absolutely recognize their Indian friends even though they are different courses, different hostel ,at different age and from different counry.

What Does It Means To Be A Young Malaysian ?

Actually, as a young Malaysian, I feel very happy because in this country i've enjoy the freedom.Especially as a student, i have full freedom to learn what ever i want.The choice is in my own hand.We can see that, our education system at the same level with the other European country.As a student, we have responsibility towards nation and country.We are the new generation that will be the next commender that responsible to manage this country for the future.I also be very proud because I have a chance to experience the peaceful and harmony life with the variety of races, such as Malay, Chinese and Indian.It gives me a chance to learn about other people.From the social aspect, we are free to choose what kind of friends that we want.We are free to choose how we want to behave.And we free to choose how we want to dress up.But, nowadays, we have lots of social problem.This social problem getting worst.The teenager have a tendency to do vandalism, gangsterism, rape,and other bad things.They always follow bad influence from the western country.The cloth taht they wear always fashionable ad up to date.But, sometimes, they have obsession towards western country.The way they dress up more than western people.They have a tendency to wearing sexy clothing that show their body.We can see, from time to time, many teenager was influenced by this kind of things because of friends influence.From the religion aspect, as a young Malaysian, we are lucky to have a religion.This is because, what ever religion that we adopt, it always teach and encourage us to do good things rather than bad things.As a Muslim, my religion always teach me how to behave, to respect my parent and old people,to communicate with people in proper way and not to do bad things.The main things that make us as a Malaysian even though we are from different races is we know how to respect each other, and we do practice it in our daily life.That's make us very lucky.We doesn't have war like the other country.We also respect to each other and will tolerence by let the other races built their temple, church and mosque.In Malaysia constituition, we have special clause that stated that Islam is the official religion of Malasia, but Malaysia constituition was allowed the practices of others religion. That shows, we always take care of relationship between variety of races that we call Malaysian.The other aspect is development.Developtment can divide to physical and mental.Physical development that we enjoy such as the architecture of building and facility.We had Petronas Twin Tower, Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC), KL Tower, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Eyes Of Malaysia,Sepang Sirkit,and so on.All of this is a Malaysia top building that are known around the world.We also have facility that same level with other western country especially in Tourism aspect.We always have an advantages in promoting our country because we are nation which built from several races.Besides, we have interesting and beautiful places such as island, beach, virgin forest, team park, historical places, cave, night safari, and zoo.This year, 2007 Malaysia organize "Malaysia Visiting Year 2007" and many program had set up.Tourism Ministry had organized lot of program every month, such as eco-tourism, homestay, handicraft product and other else.So,we compulsory to thankful to God because of this beautiful life.
